Lucknow: The upcoming Hindi film Ghodi Pe Chadhke Aana, produced under the banner of Buddha Creation of Indian Cinema, is moving steadily towards completion, with post-production work currently in progress at studios in Lucknow. The makers are planning to release the film in cinemas across India ahead of the Diwali festive season.
The film’s shooting began in Jewar in Gautam Buddh Nagar district and was later completed in Lucknow. According to the production team, a major portion of the film has been shot in Uttar Pradesh, which also influenced the decision to carry out post-production activities within the state.
Actress and social media influencer Shivani Kumari recently visited Lucknow for dubbing sessions. She stars opposite debut actor Prabuddh in the film.
The movie also features an ensemble cast including Rajpal Yadav, Rakesh Bedi, Rajesh Sharma, Pankaj Jha, Arun Bakshi, Brijendra Kala, Mushtaq Khan, Siddharth Bhardwaj, Arshi Khan and several other artists in pivotal roles.
Speaking at a press interaction in Lucknow, producer Prakash Jaiswal and writer-director Kailash Masoom said the film is an effort to promote filmmaking in Uttar Pradesh. They also highlighted the growing opportunities being created through the development of the state’s film infrastructure and film city projects.
The music of the film has been composed by Vicky Prasad and Rafiq Raja, while choreography has been handled by Mudassar Khan. Cinematography is by Rebual Ejaz. Lyrics have been penned by Sanjay Dhoopa Mishra and Jitendra Mirzapuri.
Playback singers associated with the project include Udit Narayan, Sukhwinder Singh, Shabab Sabri and Kalpana Patowary among others.
The makers describe Ghodi Pe Chadhke Aana as a situational comedy blended with family drama and social themes, aimed at delivering wholesome entertainment suitable for audiences of all age groups.
